About Oskar

Oskar Field, a jazz drummer of Swedish and Australian heritage, was born in Stockholm in 2004. He previously studied at Lilla Akademien in Stockholm, Sweden between 2014-2024 and one year at Jazzcampus in Basel, Switzerland, where he had the chance to learn from esteemed musicians like Jorge Rossy and Jeff Ballard.

With a sound rooted in the jazz tradition, Oskar Field balances timeless repertoire with a fresh perspective, as you will hear on Oskars debute album Standards Revisited , which will be released early 2027.

Oskar Field has played with established jazz musicians such as Jorge Rossy, Larry Grenadier, Amanda Ginsburg, Niklas Fernqvist, Joe Webb, Emmet Cohen amongst others.
